Waxing your Vinyl floor??

Yes we also strip and wax floors in your home or office.

Floor waxing

Alright next topic floor wax.  Depending on the type of floor you have you may need to wax it.  I say wax but it is actually a acrylate copolymer, diethylene glycol ethyl ether, and zinc compound coating  (right... that is alot)  that protects the underlying vinyl, tile, sealed wood, stone, linoleum, concrete, rubber and more.  So I will give you the secret sauce...  lots of elbow grease.  We have to start by stripping the old finish off the floor, scraping scrubbing etc.  Dry the floor completely and then we use 3 coats to give us a great shine and coating.  Takes 30-45 minutes between coats and cures in 24 hours.  Sometimes you can apply as many as 4 coats and a couple times of year we will need to do a scrub and recoat usually just 1 additional, and depending on traffic every year or two strip again and redo the process.  So now you know what it takes to keep your floors looking new, lasting longer and have your guest or clients saying how clean you keep your floors and that you must take care of everything else as well.
