<span>

            Alright next topic floor wax. Depending on the type of floor you have you may need to wax it. I say wax but it is actually a acrylate copolymer, diethylene glycol ethyl ether, and zinc compound coating (right... that is alot) that protects the underlying vinyl, tile, sealed wood, stone, linoleum, concrete, rubber and more. So I will give you the secret sauce... lots of elbow grease. We have to start by stripping the old finish off the floor, scraping scrubbing etc. Dry the floor completely and then we use 3 coats to give us a great shine and coating. Takes 30-45 minutes between coats and cures in 24 hours. Sometimes you can apply as many as 4 coats and a couple times of year we will need to do a scrub and recoat usually just 1 additional, and depending on traffic every year or two strip again and redo the process. So now you know what it takes to keep your floors looking new, lasting longer and have your guest or clients saying how clean you keep your floors and that you must take care of everything else as well.

What is Ceramic Coating

  <p>
    <span>
      <span>

            Ok there are several brands styles and meanings for ceramic coating. From kitchen pots and pans, to what ever Clark Griswold put on the bottom of that saucer sled. There are ceramic details sprays that are a temp coating often lasting from a week to several weeks. Generally this are a liquid sprayed on and applied with a microfiber towel, they provide good shine and moderate protection. Then we have what I like to call ceramic hard coating, this is a product that when applied is chemically bonded to your clear coat on your vehicle. This also requires much more prep up to and including washing, removing grease dirt debris and sometimes other finishes on your vehicle. (side note dish soap strips your vehicle of dirt grime grease and most finishes, not a good thing) We also use a detailers clay bar to remove contaminants in the clear coat and paint. Another step that may need to be taken is paint correction, removing minor scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation. Some times this may include multiple stages of buffing compounds, pads, and polishes. Now are should be ready for the ceramic hard coating, which glove up because is can pull the moisture out of your hands. We apply in sections as ensure an even coverage and clarity. I will mention here that a new product graphene.... dun dun dun..... is on its way. Graphene is an allotrope of carbon consisting of a single layer of atoms arranged in a two-dimentional honeycomb lattice nanostructure. We will discuss this in a future blog, but supposed to last 3 times as long with better clarity. I have used the detail spray version and like it so far very slick feel deep gloss and the particles are suspended in the spray so you must make sure it is thoroughly shaken while applying. Ok so ceramic worth every penny, make the process of maintaining your vehicle much easier, washes easier, bugs come off easier, protects against the mag chloride used on the roads in the winter, I love it. So recap of Ceramic Coating... The purest form of protection for your vehicle. This liquid ceramic coating will provide years of protection against all types of environmental attacks. It acts like an additional layer of clean coat which gives increased depth of gloss and enhanced color. It also creates an almost non-stick layer which reduces adhesion of dirt, grime and bugs.
